The signal

How the AI confidence engine reads a match

Every match is handed to the AI as a block of verified data and nothing else. The output is a single number — the confidence score — plus the decisive factors the model names for pulling it that direction.

Confirmed rostersBoth lineups as the data feed reports them — an unverified roster widens the model's uncertainty instead of being guessed at.
Recent resultsEach team's last matches, wins and losses, from the same feed that fills the match pages.
Head-to-headThe ten most recent head-to-head meetings between these two teams on record.
Series formatBest-of length, so the score distribution can only contain outcomes the series can actually produce.
Live series scoreOn a match in progress, the current map score — hard evidence the model must favour, and the trigger for a fresh call when it moves while the prediction is open on screen.
GRADED RECORD

Once a match finishes, its final call is graded against the real result. The running totals — overall and per game — are published on the home page.

Each match's final AI call is graded against the real result, and the running totals — every hit and miss counted — are published on the site.

Live predictions are priced by when you call them

Before a match starts, a correct prediction pays 3×. Once it's live, each team gets its own multiplier from the series score and how far the current map has gone: it falls as a map goes on, down to 1.1×, and a team behind in the series can pay more than 3×. We check every live prediction against the real map times when it settles: it pays the lower of the price you placed at and the verified price. If the map times can't be verified, the pick doesn't count: on its own it's refunded, and a multi-match slip settles on its other picks, never paying more than it showed when you placed it. Predicting both teams of the same match is not allowed.

Every match page shows the AI win probability for both teams, the Historical Performance head-to-head tracker, and Sector Advantage data - covering first blood rate, clutch conversion, economy efficiency, and map control. Unlock an AI prediction for the deepest available breakdown before making your own. Every rank gets free unlocks each UTC day, and after that an unlock costs Scanner Points.

03 - Make your free prediction in your prediction slip

Use your Scanner Points to predict match outcomes risk-free. Choose a team, enter your Scanner Points stake, and lock in your prediction in your prediction slip. A winning slip pays your stake times a multiplier, and the more picks in the slip, the bigger the multiplier. A slip with a losing pick pays nothing.

Predictions use Scanner Points, never real money, and the only paid thing on EsportScanner is the optional PRO subscription. Scanner Points have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for currency. EsportScanner is a free-to-play AI prediction platform - not a sportsbook.

04 - Climb the Global Leaderboard

Every correct free AI prediction increases your Scanner Points balance and moves you up the Global Leaderboard. Compete against the whole community across CS2, Valorant, Dota 2, and League of Legends.

Each season, the top players with a positive season gain share a points prize pool, and the top three of them also win VIP and an Identity Aura for a limited time, plus a permanent season badge.
